The backstory: Why Peru?

This Peru mission began with another destination–Colombia. Summer of 2022, I felt God call me during a series on personal encounters to learn Spanish and to go to Colombia for a mission trip. Soon, I meet a wonderful missionary couple who partners with One Mission Society at a local missionary conference. The wonderful missionary couple inspired and loved me by welcoming me to their home. We discussed about being a missionary and about an up-incoming medical mission trip to Colombia (future post coming soon).

Mi Amiga, Sarah

I went out to dinner with my dear friend, Sarah, to spend time together. I told Sarah about my future plans of going to Colombia and she stated that she was going to be heading to Peru. Something rang within me as she spoke about going back to Peru. God told me “tell Sarah you want to go on this trip to Peru”. I couldn’t sleep until I spoke with her about God telling me to joining her on the mission trip to Peru. Sarah agreed that God wanted us to got together to Peru.
